Caring for

Your Meter

Place the notches on the battery cover into

the appropriate moulded areas.

Gently push the battery cover in and down

until you hear a click.

Press and Hold the button to turn

your meter on. If your meter does not

turn on, review the battery installation

steps and reinstall the battery.

Check the date and time on your meter. You may need to

reset the date and time. (See Chapter 2, Setting Up Your

Precision Xtra Meter).

Be sure to discard the old battery in compliance with

your local government’s regulations.
